Producer, Co-Writer & Host: Michaela Guzy, Videographer, Editor & Co-Creative Director: Zac Osgood and Co-Writer & Co-Creative Director: Colin Glaum.

Join Michaela as she explores the constantly evolving relationship between Namibia‘s indigenous people, the wildlife, land and visitors who threaten their traditional way of life. Michaela gets the privilege to learn about the challenges faced by the semi-nomadic Himba tribe. Leaders of the tribe taught her about their traditional way of life, the evolving landscape, including a prolonged drought and resurgence in lion and elephant populations and how they adapt with the changes. 15% of the Namibia GDP comes from travel and tourism, so understanding the relationship and interaction between Namibia culture, its state of the wildlife and land, and visitors is vital for preserving the traditions while supporting the country’s growth.
