Join OTPYM as we step into a Cambodian monastery on the banks of the Mekong River to interview Chhin Sophoi, one of the monastery’s monks. He opens up to Michaela in this intimate extended interview about his personal journey from childhood to monkhood and the role his family played in his decision. Learn why the path to becoming a monk is so often chosen at such a young age in the poverty-stricken country– a path that is embedded in tradition, provides education, housing and the ability to pass on the Buddhist religion.
