Q:  Can you spot the difference?

1a. Reticulated Giraffe, Samburu, Kenya.

1b.  Msasi Giraffe, Masai Mara, Kenya.

1b.  Grevy Zebra, Samburu, Kenya.

2b.  Burchell (or regular) Zebra, Masai Mara, Kenya.

A: Drum roll…

1a.  Reticulated Giraffe are larger and clearer spots with straight edges.

1b.  Masai Giraffe are smaller than the Reticulated Giraffe and have flower-like spots.

2a.  Grevy Zebra are larger than the Burchell Zebra as well as larger ears, narrow stripes that run vertical and  have white bellies.

2b.  Burchell Zebra have wider stripes that extend to their belly, shadow stripes, they are smaller than the Grevy Zebra with smaller ears.
