Bangkok, Thailand has two voices: one, sweet and innocent; the other, well…join Michaela, Founder of OhThePeopleYouMeet.com, as she explores the city of devils and angels after the sun goes down.

Our evening may have started and ended at the ever chic Peninsula Bangkok, but we headed out with Absolute Travel for sundowners at Amorosa Bar with views of Wat Arun; to the Flower Market, which seemed oh so tame (refer to man with tattoos and block of ice);  ate the largest shrimp known to man at Pafai; (poorly) made Pad Thai with the creator of the dish; took a stroll past shark fin soup in Chinatown; and grabbed a drink at the jazz joint Small’s Bar.

Things took a turn for the wild when we met up with the General Manager of The Siam who took us to Patpong and Khao Sarn Road where we saw everything from laughing gas, ladyboys and back flips. And what night out in Bangkok is complete without a yard dog of beer?  We’ll leave the ping pong shows out of it! Somehow we even made it back to The Peninsula in time for curfew.
