Two days before our team’s arrival, Bangkok, Thailand was placed under martial law. The Michaela’s Map team had two choices: skip this leg of the trip or introduce Thailand to Michaela’s law. In true OTPYM fashion, the team forged ahead, exploring the city by day in this travel video postcard.

Other than a strictly enforced curfew, Michaela was surprised to find that the Thai people were still wearing the smiles they are so famous for and happy to show her around. Join Michaela as she heads out with locals for Muay Thai lessons, boating through the canals, a visit to a local market during her Thai cooking class with The Peninsula Bangkok, a custom fitting with a top Thai tailor at Cotton House, a behind the scenes tour of the flower market with Absolute Travel and of course, a tuk tuk ride.
