SLEEPING AROUND SAFELY: Dalmatian Coast, Croatia
Can you guess where I’ve been SLEEPING AROUND SAFELY now?
Our journey begins with the most scenic sunset view over the island of Hvar off the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia in the Adriatic Sea whilst I’m rocking my all gold outfit for golden hour from Kiki B Spotlight On Style from Hvar.
While island hopping and the party scene are alive and kickin’ on Hvar, we met a couple # local hosts who shared a few unexpected experiences with us, including Tonči Zoran Trbuhović from The Museum of Mystery – a clue…your fingerprint is unique so don’t get caught and locally grown indigenous products such as lavender + other organic products from Botanica Hvar.
Just over yonder, the island of Brač is best known for the white-pebble beach Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape), but we upped the ante and tried our luck swimming on horseback with our local hosts at Wild Brac who also rescue other farm animals to help build rural tourism with EU support on the island.
Back on the mainland in the epically cool coastal city of Split our hilariously stylish guide Marina Bitunjac took us for an insider tour of Old Town. You may recognize a few scenes from #GOT
65 km south of Split and 135 km north of Dubrovnik, travelers will find the charming small town of Podgora. We were warmly greeted by the Director of Tourism, the young, lively, female, Tea Vela, who took us to her favorite #fresh #seafood restaurant along the Adriatic Sea called Roko Food Bar. Fun fact, the owner Magda’s family also own a charming AirBNB just above town.
Way up on top of the mountain overlooking Podgora, accessible by intense hike, bike or car sits the skywalk, Nature Park Biokovo, if you are brave enough to face the “NEVERA” (winds) the view over Dalmatia is well worth the effort.
