Hi, I’m Michaela Guzy, founder of the content house, OhThePeopleYouMeet focusing on PEOPLE, PLACES + PURPOSES. We create + produce this exclusive series, “OhThePeopleYouMeet with Michaela Guzy”, which shifts the traditional show model from host to curator, in order to empower our local hosts to share their own stories + promote inclusivity.

I curate REAL PEOPLE who you can actually meet when traversing the globe — including local chefs + winemakers to artists, djs, changemakers and even the legendary Dr. Jane Goodall. My focus is how to go sustainably + who to know when you are there.

Each episode I will take digital nomads and armchair travelers alike on a journey of a lifetime to immerse themselves in the characters, culture + cuisine that will forever transform your perspective and give a true sense of place.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
In this episode, we will journey to the Australian state of New South Wales with a population of 7.8 million people and 2/3rds of the population living in the vibrant capital city, Sydney, the largest city in the country. I am excited to introduce you to our local hosts who will take us to lesser explored neighborhoods for a street art tour, craft brewery, shopping for Aussie designers and to eat the most Instagrammable cake. Sydney is home to the annual lights, ideas and music festival VIVID attracting talent and travelers from across the globe. On our way out of town and into the Blue Mountains, we will meet local chefs, chocolate and cider makers. Plus we’ll make a special pitstop at the botanical gardens and meet an aboriginal artist. We found endemic Australian wildlife in the Wolgan Valley while we rode horseback in a field of kangaroos.
